Plagiarism Policy

The Journal of Smart Lean Manufacturing and Process Enhancement upholds a strict plagiarism policy to maintain academic integrity and ensure the originality of all published works. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be free from any form of plagiarism, including direct copying, self-plagiarism, and improper paraphrasing.

All submissions undergo plagiarism screening using Turnitin, with a similarity threshold of 30% or lower. If a manuscript exceeds this limit, the editorial team will review the similarity report and determine whether revisions are necessary. Submissions with excessive plagiarism may be rejected outright.

Authors are responsible for ensuring proper citation of sources and adherence to ethical writing practices. Cases of detected plagiarism will be handled according to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines, which may result in manuscript rejection, retraction, or reporting to relevant institutions.
